1. Brush YO Teeth!

Did we really have to tell you this? Yes! Most adults brush their teeth for 1 measly minute, only once a day, yikes. Your breath, does it stink, well brush more. UDA Chicago Dentists are mandating all Chicagoans brush their fangs at least twice a day for 2 minutes.



2. Scrape That Tongue

Scraping your tongue removes bacteria, food debris, fungi, toxins, dead cells & mucus that build up on your tongues surface, ok, that’s gross. Removing the bacteria alone will freshen your breath.

3. Citrus To The Rescue

Take a lemon, orange or lime wedge, bite down on it and suck for a few minutes. We know, it’s tart, but, the acidic content from the citrus fruit prevents bacteria from growing on your tongue and gums freshening your breath!

4. Green Tea Saves Thee

Green tea provides health benefits as well as freshens your breath. The antioxidant properties of green tea help eliminate the pesky bacteria that cause bad breath. If you’re already a tea drinker, switch to green, it’s killing multiple birds with one stone.

5. Spice It Up

Chewing on aromatic spices like: cardamon, cinnamon, fennel seeds, and cloves with instantly freshen your breath. Also, they have antimicrobial properties that karate chop those bacterias who thrive on multiplying. HIGHYA!



6. Probiotics, Winning

Poor digestion can lead to bad breath.  A healthy gut is a long-term solution to bad breath. Fermented foods are full of real-food-goodness probiotics. Our suggested way to get our gut going, is, with some whole fat yogurt like, Noosa!

7. Is Your Breath Minty Fresh

Grab yourself a handful of spearmint, peppermint or wintermint to freshen your bad breath. This natural remedy has been used for thousands of years and is especially useful for oniony breath. You can also swallow them unlike gum!
